This Privacy Policy explains how NSTINCT GG (legal entity name to be confirmed), a Florida limited liability company (“NSTINCT GG,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, Discord server, competitive rankings, tournaments, and related services (the “Services”). NSTINCT GG operates a Discord-first competitive platform for Gears of War: Reloaded.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the data needed to operate competitive play and your account:
Discord account data. Your Discord account ID and your username and avatar, received when you sign in or interact with our bot.
Xbox identity. Your Xbox gamertag and XUID, verified through the third-party xbl.io API. We enforce one Xbox gamertag per Discord account.
Competitive data. Elo ratings, match history, teams, and tournament records you generate through play.
Subscription and billing status. Membership tier and billing status through Stripe. We do not store your payment card numbers — Stripe processes and stores payment details directly.
Optional linked accounts. If you choose to link social accounts (Twitch, YouTube, X, or Steam) via OAuth/OpenID, we store the identifiers those services return so we can display the connection. Linking is optional and can be removed.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to verify identity and eligibility, calculate and display Elo and rankings, run scrims and tournaments, manage memberships and roles, provide support, and protect the integrity of competitive play (for example, detecting cheating or duplicate accounts).
3. Service Providers and Sub-Processors
We share data with the following processors only as needed to provide the Services:
Supabase — database, authentication, and Discord OAuth hosting. Stripe — payment processing. xbl.io — Xbox gamertag verification. Matcherino — wager and prize escrow; NSTINCT GG does not take custody of user funds. Discord — the platform on which the Services operate. Vercel and Railway — application and bot hosting.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Eligibility and Age
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services, consistent with Discord’s Terms of Service. Wager and certain competitive features may carry additional age or jurisdictional limits. NSTINCT GG does not hold gambling funds; prize and wager escrow is handled by Matcherino.
5. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may request deletion of your account and associated data. To make a request, contact us at help@nstinct.gg. We will verify your identity before acting on a request.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. On a verified deletion request we remove your account data, subject to records we are required to retain.
7. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date.
